Ecosustainable Smart Mobility
The project, funded under the National Technological Cluster “Technologies for Smart Communities”, aims to define the hardware/software methodologies, the indicators, and the policies for mobility management, aimed at minimizing the environmental impact in terms of pollution, at improving the service provided to the users in terms of travel times and ultimately at optimizing fuel consumption. In particular, the project aims to develop a system of mobility management through a system of monitoring and control based on innovative technologies like wireless sensors with low energy consumption, applications on smartphones, intelligent traffic lights, security checkpoints, etc. A decision support system will coordinate the tools and will be able to support policies for smart mobility.
